Georgia High School Softball - Baconton Charter bounces Pelham

September 23, 2025: Pelham, GA 31779

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Baconton Charter Blazers (Baconton, GA) and the host Pelham Hornets (Pelham, GA), saw Baconton Charter's softball squad nip Pelham by a score of 8-2.

With the triumph, Baconton Charter improves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Blazers travel to Southland Academy (Americus, GA) to face the Raiders in a non-league contest on Monday, September 29. The Raiders enter the contest with a record of 16-6. Southland Academy won 12-0 in their recent league contest against Westwood (Camilla, GA)

The Hornets now hold a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Dougherty for a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 24. Pelham will face a Trojans squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Westover (Albany, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-14.
