In Wednesday's non-league test, the Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA), by a count of 13-5.
Next, the Redskins meet the Lake Oconee Academy Titans (Greensboro, GA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, October 6. Social Circle will attempt to move on its 22-4 season record. The Titans come into the outing with a 11-12 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA).
The Mustangs (18-5) will now prepare for their test against Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA). The WolfPack go into the 1A D-I Region 5 test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Whitefield Academy was routed by Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA), 8-3, in a non-league test.
