North Carolina High School Volleyball - Highland Tech Burns

The Burns Bulldogs prevailed the visiting Highland Tech Rams volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Wednesday's league game.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs clash with the Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A outing, on Thursday, October 2. Burns will attempt to better on its 16-5 season record. The Ironmen come into the outing with a 11-7 record after their 3-1 league win over Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC).

With the loss, Highland Tech drops to 15-3 on the campaign. The Rams host West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to confront the Rebels in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A match on Thursday, October 2. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 8-11. West Lincoln lost 3-0 in their recent league match against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC)
