North Carolina High School Volleyball - Highland Tech tips Burns

September 9, 2025: Gastonia, NC 28052

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) and the visiting Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC), observed Highland Tech's volleyball team hold off Burns by a tally of 3-2.

The Rams (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Christ the King (Huntersville, NC). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Christ the King was edged by Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Lincoln for a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A battle on Thursday, September 11. Burns will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to East Rutherford (Bostic, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 5-6.
