West Virginia High School Volleyball - Washington Jefferson

Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Washington Patriots (Charles Town, WV), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Jefferson improves its record to 6-9 on the season. The Cougars host Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV) to encounter the Cardinals in a Eastern Panhandle challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 9-8. Spring Mills lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV)

Next, the Patriots meet the Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees (Blacksville, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Cee-Bees enter the challenge with a 14-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV).
