West Virginia High School Volleyball - Jefferson over Washington

August 26, 2025: Shenandoah Junction, WV 25442

In Tuesday's league test, the host Jefferson Cougars volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Washington Patriots.

With the win, Jefferson improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV) to face the Cardinals in a Eastern Panhandle test on Tuesday, September 2. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 2-3. Spring Mills lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV)

The Patriots now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Musselman for a Eastern Panhandle test on Tuesday, September 2. Washington will face a Applemen team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Applemen record now stands at 8-4.
