The La Cueva Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host West Mesa Mustangs to 0 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedra Vista for a non-league game on Saturday, October 14. La Cueva will meet a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.
The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Valley gained a win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
