The La Cueva Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting West Mesa Mustangs to 0 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bears now have a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedra Vista for a non-league game on Wednesday, November 1. La Cueva will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 7-8.
The Mustangs (6-8) will now prepare for their game against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions enter the non-league game with a 12-5 record. In their last game, Farmington gained a win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
