Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), 7-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Hilltoppers confront the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a 4A District 2 challenge, on Thursday, October 12. Los Alamos will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM).

The Pintos now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Pojoaque Valley for a 4A District 2 challenge on Thursday, October 12. Moriarty will confront a Elks/Elkettes team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Taos (Taos, NM). The Elks/Elkettes record now stands at 6-7.
