In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Moriarty Pintos.
The Hilltoppers (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers come into the 4A District 2 battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Taos nudged Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Pintos (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes come into the 4A District 2 battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Pojoaque Valley was overwhelmed by Taos (Taos, NM), 2-0, in a league battle.
