The Carroll County Cavaliers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Floyd County Buffaloes to 0 in the Cavaliers league victory on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now have a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patrick County for a Three Rivers game on Thursday, October 12. Carroll County will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-12.
The Buffaloes (2-14) will now prepare for their game against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders enter the Three Rivers game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Glenvar dropped by Radford (Radford, VA), 3-1, in a league game.
