The Carroll County Cavaliers topped the host Floyd County Buffaloes volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Cavaliers now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick County for a Three Rivers test on Tuesday, September 19. Carroll County will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-6.

The Buffaloes (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Grayson County was knocked off by Auburn (Riner, VA), 3-1, in a league test.
