The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) and the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), saw Goochland's volleyball squad beat Charlottesville by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Goochland upgrades its record to 9-9 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Patriots in a Jefferson bout on Thursday, October 12. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Albemarle won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA)

The Black Knights (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs enter the Jefferson test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Monticello dropped by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 3-0, in a league test.
