The Charlottesville Black Knights topped the visiting Goochland Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Black Knights now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monticello for a Jefferson test on Tuesday, September 19. Charlottesville will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-9.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Goochland will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
