The The Nueva School Mavericks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Design Tech Dragons to 2 in the Mavericks league victory on Tuesday.

The Mavericks now have a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host University Prep Academy for a Private School - Bay game on Thursday, October 12. The Nueva School will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit (San Jose, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 10-10.

The Dragons (10-8) will now prepare for their game against Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit (San Jose, CA). The Lions enter the Private School - Bay game with a 5-12 record. In their last game, Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit was nudged by University Prep Academy (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
