The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the The Nueva School Mavericks (San Mateo, CA) and the visiting Design Tech Dragons (Redwood City, CA), saw The Nueva School's volleyball squad beat Design Tech by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, The Nueva School upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Pinewood (Los Altos Hills, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, September 15. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Pinewood lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Priory (Portola Valley, CA)

The Dragons now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit for a Private School - Bay bout on Tuesday, September 19. Design Tech will play a Lions squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over San Jose (San Jose, CA). The Lions record now stands at 5-4.
