The Northumberland Indians volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Essex Trojans to 0 in the Indians league victory on Tuesday.

The Indians now have a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westmoreland for a Northern Neck game on Thursday, October 12. Northumberland will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-1.

The Trojans (4-9) will now prepare for their game against King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA). The Royal Tigers enter the non-league game with a 3-14 record. In their last game, King & Queen Central dropped by King William (King William, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
