The Fightin' Indians (9-23) will now prepare for their challenge against Palestine (Palestine, TX). The Wildcats enter the 4A Region III District 18 challenge with a 1-11 record. In their last challenge, Palestine went down by Bullard (Bullard, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Madisonville Mustangs (Madisonville, TX) in a 4A Region III District 18 challenge, on Friday, October 13. Hudson will attempt to move on its 7-16 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 31-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Rusk (Rusk, TX).
