Georgia High School Volleyball - Lumpkin County tips Pickens

October 10, 2023: Jasper, GA 30143

In Tuesday's league contest, the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) volleyball squad nudged the host Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Indians battle the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) in a 3A Area 7 contest, on Tuesday, October 10. Lumpkin County will attempt to better on its 19-21 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 3-29 record after their 2-0 league loss to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA).

With the loss, Pickens moves to 17-21 on the year. The Dragons travel to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA) to battle the Wolves in a 3A Area 7 contest on Tuesday, October 10. The Wolves go into the contest with a record of 25-13. Wesleyan lost 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA)
