The Lumpkin County Indians volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Pickens Dragons to 0 in the Indians league victory on Tuesday.

The Indians now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gilmer for a 3A Area 7 game on Tuesday, August 22. Lumpkin County will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-2.

The Dragons (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Bobcats enter the 3A Area 7 game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Gilmer dropped by Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
