With the win, Middlesex upgrades its record to 15-2 on the year. The Chargers travel to Charles City (Charles City, VA) to play the Panthers in a Tidewater bout on Thursday, October 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Charles City lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech (Petersburg, VA)

The Blue Devils now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Carver College and Career Academy for a Tidewater bout on Thursday, October 12. Mathews will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to West Point (West Point, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-8.
