Next, the Blue Devils clash with the Essex Trojans (Tappahannock, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 18. Mathews will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Caroline (Milford, VA).
