Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Governors battle the Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, October 11. Nelson County will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 7-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Nottoway (Nottoway, VA).

With the loss, William Campbell drops to 0-16 on the campaign. The Generals host Chatham (Chatham, VA) to battle the Cavaliers in a Dogwood match on Thursday, October 12. The Cavaliers come into the match with a record of 3-12. Chatham won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against George Washington (Danville, VA)
