The Sartans (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates enter the 4A District 5 battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Grants was overwhelmed by Valencia (Los Lunas, NM), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 5 battle, on Tuesday, October 15. Belen will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 8-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM).
