New Mexico High School Soccer - St. Pius X knocks off Belen

The St. Pius X Sartans soccer squad scored 10 points and held the host Belen Eagles to 0 in the Sartans league victory on Tuesday.
The Sartans now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Grants for a 4A District 5 bout on Thursday, September 26. St. Pius X will play a Pirates squad coming off a 7-2 league loss to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Belen moves to 4-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Hornets in a 4A District 5 bout on Thursday, September 26. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Highland lost 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM)
