Connecticut High School Volleyball - Portland Coginchaug Regional

In Friday's league bout, the Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT), by a margin of 3-1.

The Blue Devils now possess a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to East Hampton for a Shoreline bout on Monday, October 13. Coginchaug Regional will clash with a Bellringers team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Berlin (Berlin, CT). The Bellringers record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Portland drops to 1-15 on the year. The Highlanders host Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT) to battle the Cougars in a Shoreline match on Monday, October 13.
