Alaska High School Volleyball - Houston can't get by Nikiski

The Nikiski Bulldogs edged the visiting Houston Hawks volleyball team by a tally of 1-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now have a 25-9 record. They play next when they host Bettye Davis East Anchorage for a non-league game on Friday, October 10. Nikiski will confront a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Dimond (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 9-13.

The Hawks (8-19) will now prepare for their game against Sitka (Sitka, AK). The Wolves go into the non-league game with a 13-10 record. In their last game, Sitka was edged by West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), 2-0, in a non-league game.
