In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Ledford Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Asheboro Blue Comets.
The Panthers (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights come into the battle with a 16-5 record. In their last battle, North Davidson achieved victory over Central Davidson (Lexington, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Blue Comets encounter the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 13. Asheboro will attempt to advance on its 2-17 season record. The Timberwolves come into the battle with a 5-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC).
