The Ledford Panthers held off the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Panthers now have a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Davidson for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 27. Ledford will confront a Black Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 11-4.
The Blue Comets (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Timberwolves enter the non-league test with a 4-7 record.
