The St. Pius X Sartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Belen Eagles to 0 in the Sartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Sartans now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valencia for a non-league game on Thursday, October 13. St. Pius X will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-1.
The Eagles (0-13) will now prepare for their game against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Grants was dropped by Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
