The St. Pius X Sartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Belen Eagles to 0 in the Sartans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Sartans now have a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valencia for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 1. St. Pius X will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 2-0 league win over Grants (Grants, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 14-2.
The Eagles (0-16) will now prepare for their game against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates come into the match with a 9-9 record. In their last match, Grants was beaten by Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league match.
