North Carolina High School Volleyball - Patton over Chase

The Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) volleyball were winner over the host Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Patton betters its record to 12-5 on the year. The Panthers host East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to face the Cavaliers in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A outing on Wednesday, October 12. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a record of 12-9. East Rutherford lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Polk County (Columbus, NC)

The Trojans now sport a 2-14 record. They play next when they host R-S Central for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A outing on Thursday, October 13. Chase will face a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 10-10.
