North Carolina High School Volleyball - Patton over Chase

September 15, 2022: Morganton, NC 28655

In Thursday's league contest, the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC) in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A contest, on Tuesday, September 20. Patton will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Bearcats come into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC).

With the loss, Chase drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC) to battle the Hilltoppers in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A contest on Tuesday, September 20. The Hilltoppers come into the contest with a record of 7-6. R-S Central won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC)
