The Mustangs (13-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX). The Eagles enter the 5A Region IV District 29 challenge with a 21-11 record.

Next, the Trojans meet the Carroll Tigers (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Friday, October 14. Corpus Christi Moody will attempt to move on its 12-13 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 9-19 record after their 3-1 league loss to Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX).
