South Carolina High School Volleyball - Irmo overwhelmed by Westwood

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Westwood Redhawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Irmo Yellowjackets.

The Redhawks (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC). The Cavaliers come into the AAAA Region 5 battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Richland Northeast went down by Ridge View (Columbia, SC), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) in a AAAA Region 5 battle, on Thursday, October 13. Irmo will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Demons come into the battle with a 12-7 record after their 3-0 league win over A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC).
