The New Athens Yellow Jackets (New Athens, IL) volleyball overcame the host Lebanon Greyhounds (Lebanon, IL), 2-0 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, New Athens upgrades its record to 6-19 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Dupo (Dupo, IL) to face the Tigers in a Cahokia (Kaskaskia Division) outing on Thursday, October 13. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 2-20. Dupo lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Valmeyer (Valmeyer, IL)
The Greyhounds now own a 7-19 record. They play next when they host Okawville for a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 12. Lebanon will face a Rockets squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Wesclin (Trenton, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 15-11.
