In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Giles Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pulaski County Cougars.
The Spartans (15-2) will now prepare for their battle against Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Bland County lost by Galax (Galax, VA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 17. Pulaski County will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Blue Demons come into the battle with a 4-15 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, VA).
