The Hodgeman County Longhorns volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Ashland Blue Jays to 0 in the Longhorns league triumph on Saturday.

The Longhorns now have a 20-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bucklin for a Southern Plains-Iroquois game on Saturday, October 11. Hodgeman County will confront a Red Aces squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Pawnee Heights (Rozel, KS). The Red Aces record now stands at 17-9.

The Blue Jays (6-22) will now prepare for their game against South Gray (Montezuma, KS). The Rebels go into the non-league game with a 25-2 record. In their last game, South Gray gained a win over Hodgeman County (Jetmore, KS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
