The Hodgeman County Longhorns topped the visiting Ashland Blue Jays volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Longhorns now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Skyline for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Hodgeman County will play a Thunderbirds team coming off a 2-1 league win over South Barber (Kiowa, KS). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 1-2.

The Blue Jays (2-3) will now prepare for their game against South Gray (Montezuma, KS). The Rebels enter the Southern Plains-Iroquois game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, South Gray gained a win over Cimarron (Cimarron, KS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
