Texas High School Volleyball - McAllen Pioneer

Pioneer Diamondbacks (Mission, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX), 3-1 in a league test.

The Diamondbacks (30-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sharyland (Mission, TX). The Rattlers come into the 5A Region IV District 31 challenge with a 19-14 record.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 test, on Tuesday, October 14. McAllen will attempt to advance on its 23-14 season record. The Sabercats go into the test with a 30-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX).
