The Pine Eagle Spartans topped the visiting Wallowa Cougars volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Saturday's league game.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Joseph Eagles (Joseph, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon game, on Friday, October 17. Pine Eagle will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record.
The Cougars (0-21) will now prepare for their game against Dayville/Monument/Long Creek (Dayville, OR). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 0-13 record. In their last game, Dayville/Monument/Long Creek went down by Pilot Rock (Pilot Rock, OR), 3-0, in a non-league game.
