The Chaparral Cowboys soccer team scored 5 points and limited the visiting Mojave Rattlers to 4 in the Cowboys league victory on Wednesday.

Next, the Cowboys face the Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV) in a 3A South - Desert contest, on Tuesday, October 18. Chaparral will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 12-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV).

The Rattlers now have a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they host Cheyenne for a 3A South - Desert contest on Tuesday, October 18. Mojave will face a Desert Shields team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Moapa Valley (Overton, NV). The Desert Shields record now stands at 4-8.
