In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Windham Whippets soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the New London Whalers.
The Whippets (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record.
The Whalers (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Griswold (Griswold, CT). The Wolverines come into the Eastern Connecticut III battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Griswold was overwhelmed by Montville (Oakdale, CT), 2-0, in a league battle.
