In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Windham Whippets soccer squad scored a close 7-0 triumph over the New London Whalers.

The Whippets (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Plainfield (Central Village, CT). The Panthers come into the Eastern Connecticut II battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Plainfield was overwhelmed by Waterford (Waterford, CT), 1-0, in a league battle.

The Whalers (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Griswold (Griswold, CT). The Wolverines come into the Eastern Connecticut III battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Griswold was overwhelmed by Montville (Oakdale, CT), 2-1, in a league battle.
