Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Comets confront the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a challenge, on Wednesday, October 19. Asheboro will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record.

The Grizzlies now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Davidson for a bout on Monday, October 17. Oak Grove will battle a Black Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 2-12.
