Next, the Blue Comets confront the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 3. Asheboro will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Black Knights enter the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 4-0 league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Grizzlies now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Davidson for a challenge on Wednesday, September 28. Oak Grove will confront a Black Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 1-9.
