In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting USC-MAE Trojans volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Animo Bunche Stallions.

The Trojans (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Downtown Magnets (Los Angeles, CA). The Suns come into the Freeway battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Downtown Magnets nudged Annenberg (Los Angeles, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Stallions encounter the Animo Venice Pirates (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 14. Animo Bunche will attempt to advance on its 4-13 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 league win over University Pathways Public Service Academy (Los Angeles, CA).
