The Putnam County Panthers volleyball team (Granville, IL), lost 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL)

The Crusaders (22-6) will now prepare for their battle against Seneca (Seneca, IL). The Fighting Irish come into the non-league battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Seneca achieved victory over Woodland (Streator, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Rockford Christian Royal Lions (Rockford, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 15. Putnam County will attempt to advance on its 13-10 season record. The Royal Lions come into the battle with a 15-9 record after their 2-0 league win over North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL).
