With the win, Marquette upgrades its record to 20-6 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Dwight (Dwight, IL) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, October 10. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-18. Dwight lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Woodland (Streator, IL)

The Panthers now own a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Henry-Senachwine for a non-league bout on Monday, October 10. Putnam County will play a Mallards squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Galva (Galva, IL). The Mallards record now stands at 14-14.
