The Cougars (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Buckingham defeated Nelson County (Lovingston, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chargers encounter the Fuqua Falcons (Farmville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 16. Lunenburg Central will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA).
